Collocation in Use

I’ve learned from free English Class in the University of Sydney some useful lessons.
....

1. gut reaction: phản ứng thẳng thừng, mau lẹ (believe sth but completely can’t explain why)
Eg: A: What’s your favourite pet: cat or dog?
B: Of course, I prefer dog, because...
I have a gut reaction that the relationship won’t last.

2. twenty-twenty vision = good view, good vision
Eg: She has twenty-twenty vision at her age. (70 yrs old)

3. I couldn’t care less (rudely)= I don’t mind
Eg: A: Would you like coffee or tea? (in the Cafe’)
       B: I couldn’t care less.

4. Catch sight (glimpse) of something/someone = to see sth only for a moment
Eg: I catch sight of someone with red hair and  knew that were you.

5. would far rather = prefer to do sth1 than sth2.
Eg: She would far rather sleep than watching film.

Enjoy!
