Today we learn about the phrases about relaxation and stress

STRESS:

  • demanding
  • be stressed out / feel very stressed out 
  • feel on edge 
  • be a bundle of nerves
  • get on my nerves
  • be driven up the wall by something

RELAXATION:

  • chill out / be able to chill out
  • unwind 
  • mellow out
  • feel like laid-back

COLLOCATION:

  • laid-back attitude 
  • my mother teaches me how to manner: eat properly,...

EXAMPLES:

  • David’s flatmates's behaviour is getting on his nerves.
  • He has very little chance to chill out / unwind during the week. 
  • He certainly feels stressed out most of the time. 
  • He wish he could get away from it all
  • His flatmates take a very laid-back attitude
  • The result of all this is that David is now a bundle of nerves and can’t concentrate on anything.
